About This Program

This Pennsylvania state-registered pre-apprenticeship introduces students to foundational skills in robotics and advanced manufacturing. It blends technical instruction (either online or in-person) with hands-on activities to build both technical and career-ready competencies. Students build a portfolio that demonstrates measurable skill growth in key areas aligned with industry needs.

Graduates complete a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating technical skills, safety knowledge, project planning, and employability traits. This prepares them for:

  • Direct industry employment

  • Apprenticeship programs (e.g., Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Robotics Technician, etc.)

  • Further technical education at a post-secondary institution.
