About This Program
The SMART Robotics Technician Pre-apprenticeship prepares learners for careers in robotics and advanced manufacturing. Developed in collaboration with industry, SMART focuses on the foundational Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes (KSAs) essential for entry-level technicians. Learners complete five stackable, hands-on micro-certifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Fabrication, Software, and Robotics Integration. Graduates gain practical experience with real-world tools and technologies, and can transition into registered apprenticeships, earn college credit through articulation agreements, or enter the workforce directly.
